Cherokee Indian Reservation - Cherokee's cultural attractions include the Oconaluftee Indian Village, The Museum of the Cherokee Indian and the summer outdoor pageant, Unto These Hills. Also visit Harrah's Cherokee Casino.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park - There are entrances to America's most visited National Park in both Cherokee and Bryson City.

Great Smoky Mountains Railroad - scenic railroad excursions depart from Bryson City.

Two Native American casinos - Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino is just west of us in Murphy, NC. And to the east, Harrah's Cherokee Casino is in nearby Cherokee, NC. Each is less than an hour away.

Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest - one of the Nation’s most impressive remnants of old-growth forest. Easy hiking. Near Robbinsville.
